STAMFORD, Conn. – WWE announced Wednesday that Wrestlemania 40 will take place at the Philadelphia Eagles Stadium in two years.
Lincoln Financial Field will present the event on April 6-7, 2024.
Home to the 76ers and Flyers, the Wells Fargo Center will host the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, as well as the weekly Smackdown and Raw shows.
Activities for the public will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
“We are thrilled to team up with WWE for the return of WrestleMania to Philadelphia,” Eagles President Don Smolenski said in a statement.

Then called the First Union Center, the Wells Fargo Center hosted the colorful gala in 1999.
WrestleMania has been taking place over two nights since 2020.
On Saturday, Nissan Stadium will be the site of SummerSlam, in many ways WWE’s second-largest gala.
The featured bout will pit Roman Reigns against Brock Lesnar at the Tennessee Titans Stadium in Nashville.
